TIWA SAVAGE has launched “LOST TIME,” the initial single from the album WATER & GARRI –THE SOUNDTRACK. The song is a mesmerizing, stripped-down guitar-driven piece with a mid-tempo vibe, where Savage reflects on a past romance and the desire to relive happier moments.
The track is part of the immersive soundtrack for the feature film “Water & Garri” by Everything Savage and Unbound Studios. This soundtrack, curated by Savage herself, features ten original songs by Tiwa alongside collaborations with prominent artists from Afropop, R&B, and Hip Hop genres, including Grammy-nominated stars Olamide and Ayra Starr, renowned Nigerian singer-songwriter ASA, Cameroonian multi-instrumentalist Richard Bona, and gospel artist Zacardi.
The release of “Water & Garri” signifies a significant step in Tiwa’s artistic journey, marking her debut as a lead actor in a feature film and also serving as its Executive Producer.
