Early on Tuesday 25/6/2024 and Wednesday 26/6)2024 the NUT gashaka branch went on a tour and courtesy visit to her branch zones under the NUT Gashaka branch.
The NUT Executives was led by the branch chairman comr: Charles Lucas Kotan and the AOPSHON branch chairman Comr: Adamu U.S .
The visit was to thank and encourage the teachers for their hard work and a job weldone by the NUT Chairman for their support and prayers during the Union’s Election in the month of April.
While speaking at the various schools visited, the branch chairman also emphasis on the issues of the Union’s I.D card and that of the Teaching service board which he encourage the teachers to make sure that each and everyone of them has he/ her own I.D card in other to avoid unforseen circumstances, He also added that teachers should discharge their duties very well so as to enhance Education in the rural and urban areas of the local government.
The zones and schools visited were Central primary school Garbbabi, Gayam primary school as well as Jamtari primary school, Central primary school Mayo-selbe and Goje primary school respectively
While at the schools so many complains were made by their head teachers of which the branch chairman promised to work hand in hand with his Executives to see that those problems are being solved within their power and also forward it to the appropriate offices in the state board for proper solution.
The branch chairman also encourage the village schools to always keep their environment clean and tidy in other to maintain a good learning environment for the pupils.
