TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY has significantly reduced Post Graduate school fees by 50%, aiming to enhance the accessibility and affordability of education for students, in alignment with Governor Abgu Kefas’s education sector policy.
The announced reductions are as follows: for Post Graduate Diploma, new students previously paying 84,500 now pay 42,250, while returning students’ fees have decreased from 34,750 to 26,750. Similarly, Master’s Degree students’ fees have reduced from 123,500 to 61,750 for new students and from 56,000 to 24,875 for returning students. Doctoral Degree Programme fees have also been cut, with new students paying 71,750 instead of 143,500 and returning students paying 26,750 instead of 53,500.
Furthermore, the university has lowered service charges for all students by 50%, encompassing various fees such as log books, convocation brochures, practicum, original certificates, defenses, plagiarism checks, handbooks, biometric verification, progress reports, and seminar fees, aiming to enhance accessibility to education.
In light of these changes, an update from Taraba State University (TSU) indicates that the Post Graduate admission list will soon be released. Prospective candidates are encouraged to utilize the open admission portal to benefit from the 50% tuition fee reduction.
Dr. Chris Amuche, the newly appointed Acting Provost of the College of Post Graduate Studies, encourages Tarabans and residents to seize this opportunity to broaden their academic horizons.
