Taraba State Government receives Delegation From ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank

The Taraba State Government has received the team of ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank from Lome, Togo in Taraba state at the instance of Governor Agbu Kefas for partnership with the Bank as a regional and rural developer.

Governor Agbu Kefas represented by his Deputy Alh Aminu Abdullahi Alkali received the team at the conference hall of the Deputy Governor’s office in Jalingo.
                  
The visit is aimed at promoting  partnership to develop Taraba state economically, which is in line with the policy direction of the administration of Dr Agbu kefas.

The Taraba state Governor Dr Agbu Kefas represented by his Deputy Alh Aminu Abdullahi Alkali while receiving the delegation welcomed them to Taraba state and assured them of his administration’s commitment to putting pen on paper towards concretizing communications that will pave the way for solid understanding and agreement for the benefit of Taraba state and the Economic  Community of West Africa.
                  
The Taraba state commissioner for Energy and Economic Development, Engr, Naomi Tanko Agbu who led the delegation informed the Governor that the ECOWAS investment and Development Bank team were in Taraba state in preparation for technical discussions that will fast-track the process of mutual agreement that would eventually place the Bank and the State on a solid ground for maximum benefit especially in the areas of Agriculture, Energy, and lots more for the people of Taraba state.
                
The transaction and financial Adviser to  Governor Abu Kefas, Dr Onuoha Nnachi  said the coming of the ECOWAS investment and Development Bank team into Taraba state
is a critical transformation based on the economic benefits to the State as it is an inclusive package that revolves around security and job creation amongst others.
                   
The ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank team leader Maimuna Sidibe spoke on some of the rules of engagement of the Bank and requirements that are expected to be in place for the bilateral ties.
                  
With the coming of the ECOWAS investment and Development Bank team from Lome, the capital city of Togo
at the instance of the Taraba state Governor, there will be light at the end of the tunnel for the people of Taraba state in line with the policy direction of the administration of Dr Agbu kefas.
