Around 30 individuals, among them students from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, were allegedly taken by suspected kidnappers on Friday, June 7, along the Abuja-Nasarawa Highway. The assailants ambushed vehicles transporting the travelers in the Uke area of Nasarawa State, prompting one of the bus drivers, who managed to escape, to alert the nearby police. Reports indicate that the incident involved the abduction of passengers from two buses, including an HND student from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, who was en route to Abuja.
