According to the Commission’s declaration, the PDP secured victories in all the local governments with significant margins, trailing only behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Donga Local Government.
Dr. Duwe clarified, “The Chairmanship results were also announced at the Local Government level, and we are simply here to affirm the results as declared at the local government level.”
In response to the election outcome, Governor Agbu Kefas expressed satisfaction, stating in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Hon. Emmanuel Bello, that the results underscored the PDP’s dominance in the state.
Governor Kefas remarked, “This election dispelled any concerns that the opposition might outmaneuver us. The PDP not only prevailed, but the entire process was peaceful, with widespread acceptance of the results.”
