Dr.Bulus Maiyaki had once again demostrated statemanship as he puts smiles to the faces of our aged parents and some less privilege in Donga and neighboring local governments in southern Taraba.
This is as a result of his philanthropic gesture and concern he has for our destitute parents that were able to afford a ram then but now they’re of aged with no means to have one. Makama recall when he visits houses of his Muslim relatives for Sallah back then and eat food and meat, for that he decided to pay back in a low key to some of the people he then visited knowing fully most of them cannot afford to have a ram now and foodstuffs as age is not by their sides.
Dr.Bulus Maiyaki recalled when at his younger age how himself and Dr.Abdulsalam Umar presently Comptroller General in the Custom Service used to gives selves food up till now that love is still existing between them even when they’re now all in Abuja.
Makama wish all this glorious days as food goes all round the town during either of the festive celebrations (sallah or chrismas) of the past to come back devoid of sentiments of whatever kind. We must accept ourselves as one or we all perish all together God forbid.
These has been the wish and prayers of Makama Donga to all and sundry.
He thinks is unwise to know fully well that your brother is in need of something and you’re in the possession and deny that person.
Dr.Bulus Maiyaki feels it is okay for the Muslim communities to celebrate Sallah in such away the christians does theirs flamboyantly.
Some people that doesn’t know his intentions are interpreting it as a step to joining politics but that was how some people spread rumors last elections that he’s going contest but at the end they were all put to shame.
He only wish to attain the highest position at the civil service as all intentions of military personnel is to attain to the rank of the GENERAL so as Makama wish to be addressed as Federal Permanent Secretary if God permit and God’s Willing he will surely be there by the power and special grace of God.
It is never a political gathering as all party chairmen were in attendance to grace the football match, the both chairmen wish he joins politics because of the singular act of kindness he’s always demonstrating in Donga and environ.
Makama Donga had distributed over fifty (50) rams and organized lunch on sallah day to Muslim youths.
To make the sallah more eventful he again organized a football competition between Donga and Ibi with a reasonable amount to all the participants and a cup to the winning team.
The game ended goalless and a penalty shoot out, where Donga United lost to Ibi with aggregate of 4:2.
In attendance we have the executive governor ably represented by the Commissioner of Youth & Sports Development Hon.Joseph Joshua.
The honourable Minister of State, Steel Development in his part donated the complete jerseys used by the players though in absentia.
Rt.Hon.Mark Bako Useini PhD also extended his hands of friendship with a whooping sum of money and the trophy given to the winning team as his contributions though in absentia as well.

The competition was graced by dignitaries and government functionaries, Hon.Commissioner For Health Hon.Dr.Bodiya Buma, Commissioner of Transportation Hon.Yakubu S Yakubu.
Chairman Ibi LGA as the guest of honour Hon.Iliya Muhammad Ajibu, Chairman Donga LGA as the chief host was also in attendance Hon.Ezra Voka.
Chairman Taraba State Youth Council Of Nigeria (NYCN) Comr. Gara Nongha representing the youths constituency was also not left behind.
And lots of others.
The chief Imam of Donga central mosque Mall.Sabo when intervied confirmed to us that Dr.Bulus act of kindness have not started today it is in record that ever since when he was the commissioner of finance under governor Nyame he has been a wall to lean on.
He came to our aid during the last fasting period when the country was undergoing economy challenges by providing all we need to break our fast throughout the thirty days of the sacred month and provided food on sallah day as well.
To our surprises when almost all of us think he should rest during this Eid-Kabir Dr.Bulus again shared over fifty rams to the Muslim communities, where our aged parents were identified and some group of less privilege where also beneficiaries of the gesture.
Provided food to the less privilege, organized a lunch to the youths followed by a football competition between Donga and Ibi just to celebrate the Sallah and the peace recorded thus far within the zone and the state entirely all these was achieved by the efforts of our working governor Dr.Agbu Kefas.
Galadima Hausawa has this to say “Makama is a blessing not only to the people of Donga but the state at large considering his efforts when he served the state as finance commissioner”
From the youths constituency the honourable commissioner of Youth & Sports Development Hon.Joseph Joshua applauded the this singular act of kindness demostrated by one of the true sons of Donga Dr.Bulus Maiyaki he has indeed proven himself worthy of praises and emulation that history will forever be kind to him and generation yet to come will hear about him.
The Chairman Taraba State Youth Council Of Nigeria (NYCN) Comr.Nongha Gara also appreciated and thank Dr.Bulus Maiyaki on what he described has first of its kind despite having report that Makama is still a civil servant, he wished and pray God Almighty continue to uplift him as these are the type of people we need to come into politics.
The councilors of Donga also appreciated and thank God Almighty for giving us someone that sees the need to put smiles in the faces of the less privilege and destitute not only in Donga but across.
The council leaders assured the Muslim communities that in as much as Makama is alive and healthy he will continue with this act of kindness to all and sundry considering his track records and achievement.
Ashiru Coach one of the representative from the Muslim youths expressed his profound gratitude to God Almighty for giving us someone like Dr.Bulus in our country home Donga.
Though he’s not a politician now but his record back then when he served the state as finance commissioner has again confirmed to us he’s still whom we knew for almost two decades now.
Kabeya Kungaba the head coach of Donga United showed his satisfaction on how Makama brought the idea of bringing youths together as one of the social activities that remove some of our sorrows is of course football.
Kungaba showed his satisfaction on how the both teams played with much enthusiasm.
Though he was not happy for not winning the friendly match despite his side are the host but commeded the efforts and zeal shown by his side and at the end congratulated Ibi United that narrowly escaped with the cup after a penalty shoot out.
The chairman of Ibi was very excited when Makama called to inform him of his plans to host a competition between the LGs, he immediately swong into actions and called for the head coach of Ibi to prepare his boys for a football friendly competition in Donga organized by Dr.Bulus Maiyaki coming up 17th June a day after sallah festival.
On his arrival he got to understand that it wasn’t only football competition but with a lunch organized for the Muslim on the sallah day all by Dr.Bulus Maiyaki despite him been a christian. Hon.Iliya Mohammed yet again thanked Dr.Bulus on behalf of the Muslim communities for this showed of love where he described Dr.Bulus as someone he knew that can do more than this as time goes on.
The Ibi head coach first of all thank God Almighty for this wonderful opportunity to be hosted by the people of Donga sponsored by one of their true son Dr.Bulus Maiyaki (Makama Donga) he appreciated the hospitality by the people of Donga during the football match where he confirmed to us there wasn’t any intimidation from any quota and his players were treated fairly and encouraged all those with opportunities like the Makama should of course emulate from him.
The last but never the least, the man of the moment, the man with impeccable character worthy of praises and emulation, tested and trusted, the man with administrative knowledge, a reservoir of knowledge, the true son of the soil, the man with the heart of gold, a leader that is ready to serve not to be served, the iron man, the most talk about in Donga and beyond and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MAKAMA FOUNDATION when I met with him he has this to say “He firstly, gave all adorations to God of heaven for making him amongst the living and appreciated the efforts of his late father may his gentle soul continue to find solace and the souls of all the departed. He went further to say the prayers of his mum keeps him going where she also advised him to always come to the aid of the needies, that there’s no any act of worship more than giving and rendering assistance to those in need. May her days be long”
Makama first of all appreciated the state government for providing him this unforgettable opportunity to render service to his people where the commissioner whom he represented the state government under the leadership of the captain of the Moving Forward Dr.Agbu Kefas the executive governor of Taraba State, Makama acknowledged the efforts of the Honourable Minister Of State, Steel Development H.E.Barr. Uba Maigari Ahmadu for providing the two teams with the jerseys we used during the football competition, Rt.Hon.Mark Useini PhD was not left behind as he donated financial support and the trophy that was given to the winning team the two commissioers that honoured our invitation aside the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development namely Commissioner For Health Hon.Buma Bodiya and that of Transportation Hon.Yakubu S Yakubu we thank you for been part of the historic event, he went further to appreciated our royal father Amb.Sanvala Shimbura Varzoa Gargbanyi II for blessing the activities to mark the Eid-El Kabir celebration, and he prayed for all that came from far and near to return home successfully after the events. He prayed for the best team to win and warned never to intimidate the visitors because is a thing of joy for people to honour an invitation just to come and play football outside their jurisdiction. He said Ibi and Donga shares same things in common as we all have river that surrounded us, they’re fishermen same with us, farmers as well and for that we must treat them with friendly hands.
Makama Donga appreciated all the Muslim communities for accepting his gifts as he knows if not for the love and understanding they have for him some might not come close to all that he has for the Muslim ummah.
For our August visitors Ibi LGA I must acknowledged your dedication in ensuring the event was of success, my friend and brother the chairman I’m short of words to express my gratitude for making this event a colourful one.
Makama Donga congratulated the whole players and their teams for making the match a friendly match, though he wish his hometown wins but luck was not by our side and he congratulated Ibi United for their beautiful performance on the pitch. Even though the event ended with a rainy day but yet the visitors were able to be given their awards and trophy.
Makama Donga thank the organizers, fans that trooped in to watch the match, and not forgetting our security agencies that ensured a violent free event was recorded.

At the end of the event prayers were offered from all angles to the CEO of MAKAMA FOUNDATION Dr.Bulus Maiyaki for God Almighty to increase him in wisdom, health and wealth as he keep on rendering assistance to the less privilege and God answer all his prayers.
