Hope Dennis Yasso, a lawyer, who became a music producer, is growing into one of the best in the craft, currently in Nigeria.
Hope Denis Yasso, popularly referred to as DeeYasoo, stands out among the crop of his colleagues as the brain in fussing beats together to form tunes that have got the world into a grooving mood.
DeeYasso, who is from Zing LGA Taraba State, and first of four siblings, showed gifted hands from a young age in the church choir, where he started to play the drum set in 1990. His interest in music grew and he moved to learning how to play the guitar and piano in 2000. The hunger for excellence in music went deeper six years later when DeeYasso acquired knowledge in music production. The decision would years later yield some of the irresistible sounds that have propelled his reputation internationally.
Despite being a genius in music production, DeeYasso studied Law at the University of Maiduguri in Borno State, and graduated in 2016. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, and was called to the Nigerian Bar Association as a Lawyer and Solicitor of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria, a year later.
DeeYasso’s career as a top music producer literally took off afterward. He has produced countless timeless hit songs that have endeared him into the hearts of good music lovers across the world. He has worked with major artistes in the Nigerian music industry, such as Chikè, SanTan Dave, SautiSol, NickiJam, Oxlade, Gyakie, JohnnyDrille, Teni, Flavour, KizzDaniel, Ladipoe, Ric Hassani, Simi, Zoro, Nasboi, Wande Coal and many more.
DeeYasso doubles as a lawyer, music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
DeeYasso has become a serial star maker, ranging from Chike’s “Boo Of The Booless” album, which includes the hit single “Running To You” ft Simi, to Ric Hassani’s hit song “Thunder Fire You”, “Intoxicated” by Oxlade ft Santan Dave. The outstanding record producer is yet to hit the biggest proportions in his career. The most viral songs of the moment in the country; “Umbrella” by Nasboi ft Wande Coal and “Egwu” by Chikè ft Mohbad, are products of his creative hands.
He has worked with several A-list Nigerian artists, including Ric Hassani, Chike, Timi Dakolo, Simi, and Jesse Jagz, among others. Dee Yasso’s production skills have earned him numerous accolades, and he has produced over 2,000 songs. Some of his notable tracks include “Stay” and “My Name
