Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, and Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, among others, have convened at the Oyo State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, for a meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum. Also in attendance are Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Deputy Governor Ifeanyi Ossai of Enugu State, and Deputy Governor Monday John Onyeme of Delta State. Chaired by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, the forum is slated to deliberate on pressing national issues such as security challenges and economic hardships, the forthcoming Edo State Governorship Election, party primaries scheduled for February 22, the National Executive Council Meeting, and other pertinent party affairs.
