The community’s concerns were heightened following the tragic killing of one of its members, Gambo Mani, who was fatally shot while returning home in the vicinity of Angwa Rimi, Karim Lamido Local Government. Describing the incident as heinous and inhumane, the community expressed deep distress over the loss, especially considering the recurrence of such tragic events in recent times.

The community highlighted the importance of the “Peace and Dialogue Bottom Talk Approach Meeting” held with the governor in July 2023 as a guiding principle in their interactions.
