IT’S A SEASON TO STAND STEADFAST IN PRAYING FOR NIGERIA, TARABA STATE, AND THE MAMBILLA PLATEAU: HON. MOHAMMED J. UMAR ATTENDS THE GRAND FINALE OF A 4-DAY PROGRAM AT FIRST MBCN, GEMBU.*
Earlier this evening, the Executive Chairman of Sardauna LGC joined Hon. (Dr.) Tafarki Agbadu, the member representing the people of Kurmi in the State House of Assembly, clergymen, and the Christian community in praying for the progress of Nigeria, Taraba State, and the Mambilla Plateau during a 4-day program organized by Evangelist Gladys Juyoh Ministry. The program brought together participants from both within and outside the state and local government.
During the grand finale, the Hon. Chairman expressed his appreciation to Evangelist Gladys E. Juyoh for hosting this program at a time when our country, state, and local government need prayers for God’s blessings and intervention. He further admonished the Christian community to stand steadfast in praying for the nation and for His Excellency.
The Chairman informed the participants about how Christians and Muslims have been living together in love and harmony. He quoted, “It may surprise you that here on the Mambilla Plateau, families of mixed faiths are common, and interfaith marriages are a testament to our unity.” He commended the organizers and expressed hope for more such great events on the Mambilla Plateau.
The Chairman was accompanied by the Hon. Vice Chairman Rev. (Dr.) Paul G. Ngatem, the Leader of the Sardauna Legislative Council Hon. Abdulkarim Salihu Shum, the Secretary, Deputy, Councilors, Supervisory Councilors, Special Advisers, and other distinguished personalities from the local government. Highlights of the occasion included song ministrations from choirs, guest artists, and dances.
