Exclusions of Yukuben and Shibong wards in the ongoing Political Appointments: Yukuben Youths writes Governor Kefas

It has become expedient for the entire Yukuben people to writes you at this material time as your developmental strides is unfolding on daily basis in the State. I want to first and foremost appreciate you and your government for the good governance and sufficient service delivery Tarabans have been enjoying for an enviable period of one year so far as democracy has finally reaches the people of Taraba through your dedicated, committed and focus leadership.
It is on record that you are the only Governor Taraba State ever had that His policies benefits all even before completing 100 days in office. Your humane and people oriented policies has written your name with a golden pen on a golden slate in the heart of everybody in Taraba State irrespective of tribe, religion, ethnicity and political affiliations. Weldone  the people’s Governor.

Base on the aforementioned leadership qualities of yours,  Your Excellency,  I wish to use this medium to draw your attention to the exclusion of the Yukuben and Shibong wards of Takum Local Government Area in the ongoing political appointments in the State which has raised so much concerns. “Like a pin pricked on an inflated balloon” comes the list of the political appointees in the Approval list Part 1B as approved by His Excellency to the hope of every sons and daughters of Yukuben land which constitute the Yukuben and Shibong WARDS and a major in Fete ward.

Your Excellency Sir, we still believe in your leadership style  of promoting inclusivity and diversity in governance which is the most reason we as a people have decided to call your attention to this very act of unintentionally omission and exclusion of an entire ethnic group from the part 1A and Part 1B of the appointees into your Executive Council and other commissions.

Your Excellency,  it is also on record that Yukuben and Shibong wards are diehard traditionally PDP strongholds that have remained loyal to the party since the inception of Democracy and civil rule in Nigeria. This was demonstrated in the last elections even as they two wards voted massively for PDP despite having their son contesting in the opposition party.

I understand from the lists released so far that there is probably another list that will be released soon and hence my passionate  appeal to  your Excellency to consider the Yukuben people in the  next phase of appointments that will be approved by your Excellency   for this will be a panacea for addressing our concerns and feelings of being marginalised as a people in the State.

I know you are a listening Governor and will take  this appeal seriously and do justice to the affected wards.
