Dr Agbu Kefas : Running An Inclusive Government

“Governance is inclusive when it effectively serves and engages all people; takes into account gender and other facets of personal identity, and when institutions, policies, processes and services are accessible, accountable and responsive to all members of society.”

The above assertion can best describe the Government of Dr Agbu Kefas in Taraba State.

To say that since his emergence Dr Agbu Kefas has been providing effective leadership and running an inclusive governance is an understatement.

Dr Agbu Kefas has reiterated his commitment to inclusive governance on several occasions. He is equally walking the talk.

He has made it clear that he is a Governor for all Tarabans irrespective of political party affiliations, religious beliefs, tribe, or section.

Dr Agbu’s commitment and unwavering dedication to the cause of bettering Taraba state devoid of any form of divide, cannot be faulted.

It takes a leader with an unwavering commitment to record the kinds of achievements he recorded in just one year in office. He has endeared himself to the hearts of the majority of Tarabans.

The Five Finger agenda which is the roadmap of his administration is being meticulously implemented for all Tarabans.

The free education policy of his administration is for all. Reduction in the tuition fees of higher institutions is for all. All citizens of the state are beneficiaries of his developmental activities and goodwill.

Another interesting aspect of his inclusive governance is that he has created room for both women and youth in his Government. The majority of members of his executive council are youth. He has also appointed seven women among his Commissioners; the highest in the country.

In terms of other political appointments, all sections of the state are well represented. Both the youth, women and the aged.

Tarabans now have a unity government. The one accepted by all. The Star Boy is a Leader after Tarabans’ heart.

The Governor is securing the life and properties of all Tarabans, his administration’s economic policy is for all, his empowerment and skills acquisition programmes are for all, his developmental activities are for all, his government is for all, he is running an open door administration, his top priority is the wellbeing of Tarabans, and above all, he is a Governor for all Tarabans.
