Burna Boy has achieved another significant milestone by becoming the African artist with the highest-grossing venue in the United States. During his ‘I Told Them’ Tour, he sold out the 19,000-capacity TD Arena Garden in Boston, adding to the success of his tour which has already brought in $11.7 million from 11 reported shows out of the 22 planned stops.
This achievement underscores Burna Boy’s position as a leading global African artist. Since gaining international recognition in 2018 with his hit song “YE,” Burna Boy has seen remarkable success for an African artist.
Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the only Nigerian artist with two Diamond-certified songs in France, “On The Low” and “Last Last.” Furthermore, his Grammy-nominated album “African Giant” made history as the first Nigerian album to receive a platinum certification in France.
