According to Daily Sun, an American actress, Amanda Seales, has claimed that the assassination attempt on former US President and Republican candidate, Donald Trump, was staged.
The media has reported that two people were killed after gunshots were fired at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, prompting security staff to whisk away the injured former president from the stage.
Meanwhile, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the prime suspect in the assassination attempt on the former President’s life.
However, despite the security agencies’ confirmation of the incident, Seales expressed doubt about its authenticity.
Speaking in a video message shared on social media, the actress insisted that the attempt was staged, her argument being that gunshots didn’t sound real.
She said: “That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President.
“I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Where did the bullet come from? In theatre/movies, there is something called blood pallet. You place it in your mouth, you crush it and then blood comes out.”
She further argued that if the attempt on his life was authentic, the former President wouldn’t have responded to it by raising his hand in the air.
