The Governor of Taraba state, His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas has pledged to give SKECC construction company the necessary support as it begins construction on the Gembu- Cameroon border road.
The Governor gave the assurance when the Managing Director of SKECC construction company, Mr. Henry Lee led other members of the company on a courtesy visit to the Governor in Jalingo, last Friday.
Governor Agbu Kefas said before SKECC visited the state, he had received information about the company and considering their track record in construction, he is counting on their ability to deliver quality in constructing the Gembu-Cameroon border road.
On the Bali-Gashaka-Gembu roads, the Governor said he would make arrangements for further conversations with the company as regards the dualization of the road.
He officially welcomed them to the state and assured them of his commitment as they embarked on executing the project for the progress of the state.
Earlier, while presenting an overview of the establishment of SKECC construction company in Nigeria and the magnitude of projects they have carried out in the North-East and other parts of the country, the Managing Director, Mr Henry Lee, said their company is known for constructing standard roads and delivering within the stipulated time frame.
He thanked the Governor for awarding their company the contract, pledging that they would work assiduously to accomplish the project in due time.
